If you are an Instructor who has a sense of humour, loves interacting with class participants and feels that it's really important to let participants know what they are doing and why, then becoming a BODYVIVE TM Instructor might just be for you. Teaching BODYVIVE TM gives you the opportunity to work with a different group of Club members - those with low to moderate levels of fitness. You'll be welcoming entry-level participants who are new to Group Fitness, servicing de-conditioned participants returning to exercise after an extended break such as following injury or pregnancy, and encouraging baby boomer participants (aged between 45 and 60) to reach their goals. Given the various challenges of each group, teaching BODYVIVE TM gives you the opportunity to really make a difference. "I had a blind person and their carer, someone with a plastic knee, a person recovering from a hip-replacement, a participant on the mend after spinal surgery, many overweight people and people from a wide range of age groups. It was great to see that regardless of their condition, everyone benefited and got huge enjoyment from this class, many coming back week after week. I was excited by the breadth of the program's appeal during the Australian trial and you will be too." Dione Ware, Les Mills Asia Pacific BODYVIVE TM Master Trainer. BODYVIVE TM is designed to encourage participants to gently push their boundaries and draws upon group dynamics to build community spirit in the class. "There is so much laughter and fun in this class, and I love the interaction I get from the ladies. It's achievable for everyone and this builds a wonderful positive atmosphere." Rose Danguaard, Instructor, Fernwood Women's Health Clubs. Certification in BODYVIVE TM gives you additional credentials in the delivery of an integrated, low-impact program for participants as well as the opportunity to up-skill in community- building and benefits-based coaching. |
