As we all continue to deal with the impact of the coronavirus, we want to reaffirm our commitment to our value propositions: to help create healthier businesses by making more people fall in love with their club; and to help Instructors achieve greatness.

FOR INSTRUCTORS

1. How do I purchase Smart Tech?
For prices, and details on how to purchase, head on over to at https://lesmills.com.au/equipment/smart-tech

 

2. Are there any SMART TECH discounts for Instructors?
Check your email inbox for any SMART TECH offers that may be available in your country. To ensure you don’t miss any special offers or announcements, please ensure we have your current email address, and that you have added lesmills.com.au to your list of safe senders. To update your latest information login to your Instructor Portal and hit the Update Details button.


3. Can I offer LES MILLS On Demand to my members?
Earlier in the year we emailed you a link to access a mini version of workouts from Les Mills On Demand, The title of that email was “We’re still all in this together”, and this point in time, that link is still valid for your members to access these online workouts.


4. Can I live-stream classes to my members?
Unfortunately, at this point in time due to music licensing restrictions, live-streaming regular Les Mills workouts to members is not permitted. We did however, provide Clubs with access to temporary live-streaming workouts that use royalty-free music, for streaming via your Club’s official social media channels. Instructors were advised to speak directly with their Club/s to find out more about this option. This all said, we recommend you watch this space for more updates regarding music licensing restrictions and permissions for live-streaming, as we have some exciting news in store for you, on this front!


5. Can a group of friends stream LES MILLS On Demand in an outdoor space or at home together – obviously with social distancing enforced?
Your local Government directives around group gatherings will most likely dictate whether this is permissible or not. Some regions may be okay with small group gatherings so long as social distancing regulations are in place, while in other areas all unnecessary gatherings are banned. Your best bet is to refer to what is being stipulated by your governing body in your local area.

 

6. Will the Q4 Quarterly Workshops still happen?
Q4 Workshops are on track for 28th & 29th November, and to accommodate the many varied needs throughout our region - and for the first time ever - we’ll be delivering a blend of in-person Workshops in some metro areas where COVID-restrictions permit; as well as online eWorkshops that you can live-stream to your Club, home or wherever you like! 7. Are IMTs/Advanced Trainings still proceeding?
Updated details regarding available training can be found at https://lesmills.com.au/training
Our regular schedules for Initial Module Training (IMT) and Advanced Training (AT) have obviously been interrupted due to the pandemic. However, in response to demand from our Tribe we have introduced ONLINE Initial Module Training (OIMT) in Australia, which enables individuals to complete Days 1 and 2 online, from the comfort of their own home. Note: Day 3 still requires face-to-face attendance and is necessary for successful certification. At this stage, Advanced Training is not yet available online, and OIMT is not yet available in Southeast Asia.

8. Any plans of offering your online subscriptions for free trial for a month instead of 2 weeks, or whether you are planning to reduce subscription costs in this time of pandemic.
Right now there are a number of offers of free access to LES MILLS On Demand in the market, all designed to support Les Mills Instructors and Club Partners to cope with the impact of COVID-19. This includes collaboration with them to offer their members a time of free access to LES MILLS On Demand (typically 60 days). Note: Any form of free access or trial is only available to new customers of LES MILLS On Demand, not current or former subscribers.

 


 

FOR CLUB PARTNERS

1. Can my club Live-Stream Classes?
Due to music licensing restrictions, the regular Les Mills programs cannot be live-streamed. However, you can live-stream the temporary workouts we provided you with, which use original music. Please refer to our FAQs for clubs and contact your local BPM if you have any questions or need additional support. We also recommend you watch this space for more updates regarding music licensing restrictions and permissions for live-streaming, as we have some exciting news in store for you, on this front!

 

2. Can I offer LES MILLS On Demand to my members?
Yes, we want your members to stay active and to remain connected to your club. The best way for you to offer LES MILLS On Demand to your members is to get set up as an Affiliate Partner (there's no cost involved to do this). Once you become an Affiliate Partner you will be given a unique link that you can share with your members. This link will provide them with a 60-day FREE Trial to access 1000+ workouts. When the 60 days is over, they can then pay to continue their access. As an Affiliate Partner, you will receive a revenue share from all your member subscriptions. Les Mills Asia Pacific (LMAP) remains committed to supporting our Club Partners, Instructors, members and the industry however we can, during this tumultuous time. We all know that exercise helps people to cope better with challenging situations, so the key message to keep promoting remains: KEEP EXERCISING. To help you with this, we’ve created a special online link to a curated version of LES MILLS On Demand, which contains 100+ free workouts, that you can give to your entire Instructor team and all your members, which will help them stay active and healthy while your doors remain closed. We also sent you links to enable Club Partners to live-stream a temporary library of classes using original music. Our Club Partners also have the opportunity to become an Affiliate Partner, which will enable them to give a 60-Day Free Trial of the full version of LES MILLS On Demand (with 1,000+ workouts on offer) to their members and team. To explore this option, including eligibility, Clubs should contact their local Business Partnership Manager.
