You can try LES MILLS SHAPES now on LES MILLS+. Live workouts will be rolling out in fitness clubs across Australia and Southeast Asia from October 2023.

LES MILLS SHAPES uses a variety of optional equipment. This includes a sculpt band, sliders/sliding discs (these are optional, you can use socks on the carpet as an alternative), two light weight plates (1kg and/or 2.5kg) and a yoga mat.

LES MILLS SHAPES is suitable for all fitness levels and abilities. Each workout is packed with options so you can train at an intensity that works for you. You can move at your own pace, slowing down and stopping as you need.

Aim for two to three LES MILLS SHAPES workouts each week. We recommend doing the six workouts in order, repeating each workout a few times before moving on to the next. Over a six-week period, you should be able to progress through them all.

For the ideal combo, match your LES MILLS SHAPES sessions with cardio. As LES MILLS SHAPES fatigues your core, it is important you avoid any heavy lifting straight after.

LES MILLS SHAPES offers the best of Pilates, barre, and power yoga. This means, not only will you enjoy the posture-refining benefits of Pilates, but you’ll also tap into the strength-building benefits of yoga; as well as the core-strengthening and stability-building benefits of barre! It’s an easy and quick training pathway for Les Mills Instructors to become a LES MILLS SHAPES™ Instructor – in fact, you can be certified and teaching within two weeks!


Instructors complete pre-work, attend a five-hour Trainer-led online training session, and submit your video for assessment three days after the completion of the online training. Within two weeks, you can be fully certified to teach LES MILLS SHAPES in your club.
