At the heart of Warriewood’s fitness community stands Josh Every, the Co-Owner and Head Coach of The Gym Factory. Josh leads the coaching team, oversees program delivery, and ensures that every class reflects the high-energy, community-driven culture that members have come to love. His leadership is not only about training but also about creating an environment where people feel motivated, supported, and connected.
The Gym Factory is home to a diverse and highly engaged community. Members range from young adults building consistency for the first time, to busy parents finding balance, and everyday athletes pursuing high-performance goals. What unites them is their energy — a supportive mindset, a hunger to learn, and a shared love for classes that challenge them and bring out their best.
A key part of The Gym Factory’s success lies in its commitment to quality equipment and strong partnerships. While the club doesn’t currently use SMARTBAR® or SMARTBAND®, it does use the SMARTSTEP® which has made a noticeable difference to the quality and safety of classes. Its durability, stability, and ease of use significantly enhance the member experience, especially in high-energy programs like BODYPUMP®.
Behind this success is a powerful partnership. Co-owner and longtime friend Mike Brown was instrumental in bringing Les Mills programs to The Gym Factory, driven by his vision to introduce world-class, results-driven training to the community. Together, the partnership between the owners has become the heartbeat of the club, shaping its culture, strengthening its community, and elevating the overall member experience. Their shared leadership continues to fuel the energy, innovation, and loyalty seen in the club’s thriving Les Mills classes.

Les Mills gives The Gym Factory a massive competitive advantage by combining science-backed programming, global-standard choreography, inspiring music, and instructor development with our community-driven environment. The consistency and quality of Les Mills formats allow us to deliver results-based group fitness that our members trust and love.
What other Les Mills programs might you be interested in offering in the future?
As our timetable expands, we’re interested in exploring BODYATTACK® and BODYBALANCE® to further diversify what we offer and continue giving our members world-class training variety.
